Meta Programming
Hello, Me again.
Whilst surfing the excellent soundcloud.com, I came across a magnificent musician using the moniker ‘Meta Programming‘, I have asked him for some more details about himself, but they have yet to be forth coming.
Meta Programming have created bold and engaging ambient sounds, mostly then perfectly married with intelligent and surprising beats that had me playing song after song just to see if that sonic golden ratio was limited to the first track I discovered… gladly I found out otherwise!
I can hear influences and elements similar to those used by such artist as Lone, Tycho, Autechre, Underworld, and BoC, and there is a unique pace, and self assured quality in the bold production, ‘could this be a pseudonym for another artist?’ I find myself asking myself, either way they would be right at home at Bleep / Warp or Ghostly International
Obviously I’m impressed, and if you know anything of my previous mixes and musical taste portrayed here, you will understand why.
